Coach James' Physical Education Goals and Philosophy

My teaching goal and philosophy is to provide fun, meaningful, challenging lesson opportunities that will spark interest and provide the necessary skills to live a long, active, healthy lifestyle.

LET'S ALL STAY ACTIVE
While school is closed, students should still maintain 60 minutes of physical activity per day. There are many activities that can be performed by yourself, with your parents, or with your brothers and/or sisters.

QUICK HOME EXERCISE IDEAS
Below are some examples of different activities and resources that you can use: -Play outside with any outside toys or equipment you have -Jump on the trampoline -If you have brothers and/or sisters, play Hide-and-Go Seek or Tag -Use your imagination to create your own games -Swing on a swing set -Go to the park
If the weather does not let you go outside, there are still plenty of inside activities that you can perform. Challenge yourself and see how many times you can do different exercises. Perform: -pushups -sit-ups -squats -jumping jacks -hold the up position of a push-up (a high plank)
